ASTITVAM is built on a compassionate and meaningful vision. The word represents the idea of supreme existence—something that has always been present, even before anything else existed, and will continue to exist even when everything else is gone. It reflects the belief that this supreme element lives everywhere and within every human being.

Astitvam is a group of dedicated people who are trying to understand, reach, and spread this higher awareness in society. The foundation believes in inner growth, kindness, and collective responsibility toward people, culture, and nature. For the past several years, the founding members of the Astitvam Foundation have been working with dedication for the social upliftment of talented youth and skilled entrepreneurs in the state of Uttarakhand. Their efforts focus on providing guidance, opportunities, and support so that young people can build a better future for themselves and their communities. The journey began with a strong determination and a positive vision in 2012. This vision took an organized and official form in 2021 with the registration of ASTITVAM FOUNDATION as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

Today, Astitvam Foundation works in many important areas. These include the revival of traditional knowledge and resources, promotion of creative and spiritual education, restoration of abandoned Isht and deity temples, rescue and care of abandoned animal families, empowerment of women, and protection of a healthy and sustainable environment. Through these efforts, Astitvam Foundation aims to build a better society—one that respects culture, supports humanity, and lives in harmony with nature.
